Every Kelowna Canadian Red Cross CPR-AED course is a little bit different...depending on class size, particpant experience and individual requirements...so the specific sequence, times and topics may vary.
After completing your Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR C certification training course, you will probably want update, or put together your personal First Aid Kit.
Although no single list of items will cover every individual's personal requirements and circumstances...there are a few items which will cover a wide range of needs, with minimal cost and size.
Keep in mind that a small, simple, inexpensive First Aid Kit...which you always keep handy and immediately available...is more likely to be of use than an large, expensive Kit that you keep hidden on a shelf in the garage.
Adhesive Tape (Duct tape can be a multi-purpose substitute for Medical Tape).
If you have any physical limitations...permanent or temporary...or Medical Conditions which might affect your safety in your CPR C course, you MUST disclose this information to Frontline First Aid BEFORE class begins.
You must also notify your CPR C Course Instructor immediately if your condition changes or worsens throughout the course.
Your Instructor will make reasonable accomodations for your inclusion whenever possible, however it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that you do not perform any activities which might put you at risk.

As participant in our Canadian Red Cross CPR C course, you will be expected to work collaboratively, and amicably with all your classmates.
You may be paired up with any other student(s) throughout the course; and you must support each other's learning regardless of personal differences.
Each student will bring their own unique experiences and backgrounds to the course.
Different skills and motivations will enrich the course and create a more meaningful experience for everyone...as long as mutual respect is consistently demonstrated.
Your 4 hour Canadian Red Cross CPR C course will give you the skills and training you need to make critical decisions in a medical emergency...at home, work or play.
Emphasis on Safety & Injury Prevention will eliminate many potential problems before they occur.
You will learn how to assess injuries and illnesses; and how to deal with minor and major medical emergencies in any situation. You will learn basic principles, and how to make dynamic decisions based on those principles.
Rather than being bound by rigid and unrealistic "rules"...you will have the tools to think, adapt and do your best in any circumstance.
